Kathleen Recht hails from the great white north of Minnesota where she attended college at The College of Saint Benedict, graduating in 2011, with a degree in Elementary Education. In 2015, Kathleen and her husband, Anthony, moved to Roanoke to follow his job at Steel Dynamics, Inc. After ten years of loving the “organized chaos” of the classroom, she stepped away from teaching to raise her three children. Kathleen organizes and teaches in Sunday School for children ages newborn to sixth grade, she manages the website, maintains the MLC social media presence and newsletter, and is a communication point inside our church-community.
