Sarah stepped in to take over the job of Parish Secretary at the end of 2025. She hails from Wilmington, NC where she was born, raised, and went to the University of North Carolina Wilmington for English Language, Literature, and Writing. She spent 19 years in banking management and underwriting before taking a break to raise her two children (who are now all grown up!). Sarah loves being outside in nature bird watching and growing flowers to attract migrating butterflies, birds, and bees. About her faith, Sarah says, “I am amazed daily at how God is working in my life, changing my heart and mind to reflect His will. I find great peace in having a close relationship with Jesus, and see the miracles that come from prayer. I have a special interest in missions that care for those that are homeless, hungry, or in desperate situations. I really love my church family and have found a place at MLC where I feel that I truly belong.”
