Main Service

Sundays 9:00am

We share a church building with Rosalind Hills Baptist Church.

Our main service begins at 9:00am which includes a children’s Church during the readings and sermon. A nursery is available for babies through 4 years old. Adult and teen Sunday school takes place after some fellowship time following the service.

You may park on Laburnum Avenue and enter through the main glass doors.

What to Expect

The two-part service (Liturgy of the Word and Eucharist) is about an hour and twenty minutes. A variety of ages attend our church, from babies to life-experienced. While there are places you can take your children if they need a break, we welcome them and their noises in the service. There is a place for them to play at the back of the sanctuary as well. Children ages three through sixth grade are welcome to attend children’s Church during the readings and sermon. A nursery is available for children ages 0-4. Wear what you would like; some of our members dress casually, while others are more formal. Pastor Phil will wear vestments during special church seasons such as Christmas and Easter, but will forego them during ordinary time.

A hard earned meal together after packing.

What We Believe

1. The Gospel (“evangel” in Greek) is simple, powerful, very good news: God loved the world so much that he gave his Son, Jesus, for our salvation. This message about God’s grace is the center of every aspect of our church.

2. The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God, serving as the sole authority for doctrine and Christian life.

3. The Creeds (Nicene, Apostle’s and Athanasian) are universal statements of Christian faith. The Augsburg Confession and Luther’s Catechisms are foundational documents defining Lutheran theology.

4. Christ has not called us to isolate ourselves from the world. He has called us out of the world to belong to Him and has sent us back into the world to be witnesses and servants as we live out the callings God has given us.

Getting Involved

There are many ways to be involved in our church community and beyond. Fellowship with coffee and snacks immediately follows every Sunday service. Sunday School for adults also takes place each Sunday from 10:40 to 11:30. There are many opportunities to serve on church committees and teams, as well as groups to get to know one another in life together groups, discipleship groups, and prayer meetings. Various chances to serve our local community also come up regularly!
