We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ transforms lives and communities.

Gospel
We believe the Bible is the inspired, life-giving, authoritative Word of God; and the story it tells–about Jesus and about us–is true.
We know who we are only by knowing who Jesus is and what He says.
Worship
We gather offer the Lord blessings of praise, acknowledge the Holy Spirit’s power to help us love and worship God, confess our sins, and receive His forgiveness. We hear a reading from the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Psalms, and one of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John). In the sermon, we hear Christ teaching us through inspired Biblical preaching. We partake together in the Eucharist, also called the Lord’s Supper. In the Lutheran tradition we believe in the real presence: the body and blood of Christ is fully present in, with, and through the bread and wine.
Life Together
We hold fast to a thick community of real love. We share a common life formed in Sunday worship, deepened in Life Together and Discipleship groups, and lived out in rich friendships an raucous fun.
Teaching
Every Sunday after some fellowship time, the adults and children gather for interactive, Bible-based teaching. Adults meet in the Fellowship Hall, children begin with singing in the choir room, and teens meet in the Youth Suite.
Mission
We announce through word and deed: salvation for the lost; hope for the condemned; belonging for the isolated; justice for the poor; and goodness, truth and beauty for the deprived.
We currently have five ministry teams: prayer, catechesis, hospitality, service, and mission.
Prayer
Everything we do is bathed in prayer. On Sunday morning, several members gather to pray for the morning service and Sunday School. We also take prayer requests for our congregation and friends, which are prayed over on Sunday mornings and on Wednesdays during Intercessory and Kingdom Prayer meetings. After our worship service, Messiah’s Healing Prayer team is available to anyone who needs prayer for physical, emotional, or mental healing, as well as any other concerning issues they may be facing in life. Prayer is also central to each Elder, Deacon, and Staff meeting.
